Hi Lab,
As you know, I’m not much of a podcast guy. I enjoy interviews with interesting people to provide some context to their work, but other than that podcasts don’t strike me as a particularly efficient way to get information (relative to audiobooks). That said, I have found a couple recently that I’ve enjoyed for different reasons:
Bill Gates and Rashida Jones discussing the big issues of our time - Covid, inequality, and fake news, for example. At least in the first couple they’ve had interesting guests - NIAID director Anthony Fauci, Harvard economist Raj Chetty, and Mayor of Compton, Aja Brown.
Malcolm Gladwell’s Revisionist History - not for the content, but just for the masterful storytelling. Not a regular listener, but great for when I need some inspiration for writing.
Best wishes,
Michael
